First way to disable lock screen is by using Group Policy and the second way to disable lock screen is by applying some steps in Windows Registry. So, without delaying let's get started.

Disable The Windows 10 Lock Screen Using Group Policy in Windows 10 PC

While Group Policy is not available in Windows 10 Home, but there are a few steps to turn it On. After you turn On Group Policy in Windows 10, now we can easily disable lock screen in Windows 10 PC. Check out the following steps to do so.

1. Press Windows Key + R to open the RUN box or search for RUN in the search bar.

2. Now type "gpedit.msc" and press "Enter".

3. After pressing Enter, you'll see a new window opened. Now, if you see on the left sidebar, you'll see Computer Configuration, Click on it.

4. Now go to, Administrative Templates, then click Control Panel and then click on Personalization.

i.e. Computer Configuration  ->  Administrative Templates -> Control Panel -> Personalization

5. Now if you look at right side window on your screen, you'll see different types of settings. Now locate "Do not display the lock screen" and double click on it.

7. Final step is to restart the computer and you'll see that the lock screen has been disabled in your Windows 10 PC.

Now you know, how to remove Windows 10 lock screen. There is another way to disable the Windows 10 Lock Screen in which we use Registry Settings of Windows 10 to remove the lock screen. Check out the following steps to remove the Windows 10 Lock Screen using Registry.

1. Search Registry Editor in your Windows 10 search bar and click Enter. The Registry Editor app will be opened.



2. Now you'll see a new opened window. On the left sidebar, search for Software -> Policies -> Microsoft -> Windows.  Now after searching these terms, right click on Windows and click New -> Key.



3. After clicking on the Key, you'll be asked to write name of the Key and then name it Personalization so that you can easily remember the name.

4. Now right click on Personalization -> New -> DWORD (32-bit) value.

5. Name this Key No LockScreen and hit Enter.

6. Now right click on No LockScreen key and click Modify. A pop-up window will be opened. There type "1" in Value Data in the Hexadecimal option. (here, 0 means Lock Screen enabled & 1 means Lock Screen Disabled). So, next time, if you want to re-enable the lock screen just change Hexadecimal Value Data from 1 to 0.

7. Now, final task is to restart the computer and you'll see there is no lock screen and changes have been saved perfectly.
