1. Open your Discord app on your Android smartphone.

2. Swipe from the right side of the display to show your channels and DMs. Then click on your profile picture in the bottom-right corner of the display.

3. Now, click on Connections under the User Settings.

4. Now click on the Add button on the top-right corner to add a new connection to your account.

5. Now, select the Spotify option from the appeared list.

6. You'll see a new window opens where you'll need to log in to your Spotify premium account. You'll also have to give Discord permission to connect with your Spotify.

7. After doing that, you'll see your Spotify username on Discord. From here, you can turn the switch on which is named "Display on profile" and it is disabled by default.

8. Now, it is time to set up this process from the Spotify app. Simply open your Spotify app on your smartphone and tap on the gear settings icon in the top-right corner.

9. Scroll down and look for the Device broadcast status option. Enable this option. This option helps Discord to see what you're listening to.

10. Now return back to Discord. Now, your friends on your Discord server will be able to see what you're listening to. If the server's members like the music, they can easily play on their own Spotify account by clicking on the "Play on Spotify" button.

How to Connect Spotify to Discord on PC

1. Open the discord desktop app on your PC.

2. Click on the gear icon on the bottom left corner of the screen.

3. Select Connections from User Settings.

4. Now, select Spotify from the options that appear.

5. Now, allow Discord to view your Spotify account data by pressing the Agree button.

6. From now on, your Spotify account should appear on your Discord.

7. The "Display Spotify as your status" option will be automatically turned on.

8. Like on a smartphone, your members on your Discord server will be able to whenever you're listening to something on Spotify. The "Play on Spotify" button will again be available here. Though, you can also create a listening party on the Discord desktop.
