iOS 16 Now Rolling on All Supported iPhones with a New Lock Screen and More

Apple has begun rolling out the newest iOS 16 software update to users worldwide, as it was announced last week. Several new features, including a new lock screen that is customizable, an improved Focus mode, new iMessage features, and more, are included in iOS 16, which was revealed at WWDC 2022. iOS 16 is now available for iPhones

Numerous new features are included with it. In addition to customized lock screens and the improved Focus mode, you will also receive upgrades for the Camera and Photos applications, new Passkeys in Safari, Live text in videos, and the Mail app. For more information, see our list of the top iOS 16 features.

Later this year, features like iCloud Shared Photo Library and Matter support will be available. Also announced later in the coming year are the vehicles that work with the new CarPlay.

You have the option to skip iOS 16 and instead download the iOS 15.7 upgrade, which is currently available if you don't want to. The new version "recommended for all users" contains security updates but doesn't add anything new.
