Monday.com Merits and Demerits

This utility has several drawbacks, just like any other piece of software. We've developed a list of advantages and disadvantages based on Monday's customer reviews.

Merits

Demerits

  • When it comes to building boards and "pulses," which are simple tasks given to different persons, using Monday for project management works effectively. Assignments can be readily split down into smaller tasks with numerous ways to demonstrate progress.
  • Within projects or boards, there is a clean interface with color labeling. This makes it much easier to process data and provide updates.
  • Users can modify the views to show the Kaban view, timeline, or normal view on the pulse boards, which are similar to highly customizable Excel sheets. The boards are modular, so they can be used by numerous teams working on various projects at the same time.
  • The templates save time and effort for both novice and advanced users, making them simple to utilize.

  • The notifications can be annoying, but they can be turned off by heading to personal settings.
  • There is no method to distribute a pulse to another board; instead, users must establish several pulses and post individual updates to each one, which can be time-consuming, especially for teams working on multiple projects at once.
  • Monday smartphone apps for on-the-go collaboration are not well implemented. Working with the portrait view is difficult.
